TEGNA Media is breaking the mold for how media companies operate. Premion ((please use the apply button below)) is leading the way at the local and regional level with advertisers and connecting them to premium, long form episodic content from over 100 network partners (e.g. Fox, Sling, Turner, Pluto, Xumo and more.)

The Opportunity
Premion is hiring a Sales Analyst  who will be responsible for managing the inbound field sales opportunities pipeline and delivering related pre-sales activities/deliverables for the OTT long form video business while interfacing with the Director of Pre-Sales, President of Premion and regional/local sales teams.  This role will be based in New York City.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work closely with the Director of Pre-Sales to create and implement effective pre-sales processes and tools that drive revenue growth
  • Research and distribute data and reports that will aid in the development of sales strategy, market and category development and best practice sales processes
  • Manage pipeline for all active sales opportunities in (please use the apply button below) reviewing all newly created opportunities and establishing proper follow up activities and notifications including assignment of tasks and deliverables
  • Act as the Premion Salesforce CRM Administrator
  • Interact daily with TEGNA local and regional sales team to develop and deliver advertising revenue proposals to regional and local clients.  
  • Oversee RFP process on behalf of Premion working closely with and coordinating the resources of the field sales, technology, operations and content teams
  • Respond to requests for information and answer any questions as it relates to pre-sales process including pricing, volume, forecasts and capabilities
  • Work closely with marketing team to provide market feedback on the development of materials needed for stations to manage best in class sales processes
  • Communicate available materials, resources, tools and training to the field
  • Work closely with Premion leadership and finance team for approval of deals
  • Establish and maintain productive working relationships with the participating local marketing and sales teams across the country
  • Ad hoc reports and analysis projects as needed (forecasting reports, market opportunity data, pipeline updates, etc.)

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field 
  • 3+ years pre-sales, sales enablement, sales engineering or sales operations experience
  • Understanding of complex request for proposal (RFP) processes and requirements
  • Advanced (please use the apply button below) (CRM) skills
  • Broadcast/digital advertising, marketing, sales or agency experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and effectively solve problems
  • Exceptional organizational, project management, communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Mac and PC proficient especially for presentation and proposal development 
  • Exceptional reputation and professional ethos 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
