Senior Software Engineer
Fargo Engineering, located in Fargo, ND, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer. Design, develop, test, and deploy windows and web applications in C# using visual studio. Create, modify huge SSIS packages, design multiple reports and dashboards using T-SQL queries. Create multiple applications (web apps, database, IoT hub, Functions, static apps, etc.) in Azure. Develop multiple mobile applications (Android and IOS), using Xamarin Forms. Develop logical code for many applications deployed in IoT devices (designed using Arduino Uno, ESP32, etc.) using Arduino, EspressIf tools. Program and configure controllers via CAN using multiple protocols like KWP, UDS and some custom protocols. Work with systems that interoperate with embedded real time controllers, PLCs, and automated equipment, and integrate them with the applications to validate the test data. Read, analyze, and understand existing code, make modifications, and test changes. Communicate directly with clients to gather, analyze, refine requirements, and provide an estimate required to deliver the solutions. Participate in scrum activities, perform design/code reviews, involved in full SDLC. Troubleshoots, debug, resolve product issues as they occur and provide live support as the machines were built, as required. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or an equivalent foreign degree with five years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience performing design and implementation of complex solutions with strong coding skills in .NET using C#; leading teams, designing and setting technical direction, having experience with SQL Server (T-SQL queries) and with SSIS; CAN (Controller Area Network) and DAQ (Data Acquisition techniques); cross platform mobile development; IOT development and BLE techniques; Azure; Code Reviews, Code Optimization, and Unit & Acceptance tests. In lieu of the requirements above, employer will accept a Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology and at least three years of experience listed above.
