Commercial Print Salesperson
Ogden Newspapers is seeking an experienced commercial print salesperson to drive revenue and support our continued growth.
We serve daily and weekly newspapers, specialty periodicals, government accounts and large commercial clients with a wide range of publication specifications.
This position is focused primarily on selling into our high-capacity, high-speed modern offset printing facility in Maryland, but it provides additional opportunities to sell across our other mid-Atlantic and Midwest production facilities.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years’ experience selling a range of newsprint-based products and will have gained a thorough practical understanding of offset printing and post-press processes like inserting, stitching and trimming and postal processing. He or she should have a proven track record of building long-term customer relationships to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
Critical skills include account prospecting, production cost modeling and excellent written and verbal communication. Applicants should be familiar with standard office productivity software. The successful candidate will exhibit personal initiative, drive, professionalism and integrity. The ability to work independently is a must.
