Located in Pelham, AL Rainbow Technology has been specializing in products and services to the utility and industrial markets, as well as the Shooting Sports Industry (SSI) nationally and internationally for over 50 years. Rainbow is an important vendor to the telecommunications, electric power, other key utilities, OEM’s, contractors, and distributors to these markets. Rainbow seeks niche products and services while continuing to focus on traditional products. Rainbow sells through online stores as well as through traditional methods.

Job Description and Duties

• Build, maintain, and grow existing customer relationships in the telecommunications and cable tv industries
• Locate and acquire new customer accounts
• Develop good rapport with customers and setup in-person and online sales calls
• Communications with assigned accounts regarding products, price negotiations, warranties, product application, demo and product sales, customer complaints, returns and other customer issues
• Attend or administer field trials, product trainings, and trade shows
• Work hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

What we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree (business or related field), or equivalent work experience
• Microsoft Office and Excel experience
• 5-7 years of sales experience
• Preferred experience or knowledge of the telecom, chemical, pesticide, and/or safety industries
• Must be willing to travel
• Must be able to think fast, problem solve, switch gears quickly, and multi-task
