Salesperson
Salesperson needed for our Baton Rouge sales area. The ideal candidate will have knowledge in the food industry, prospect and generate new commercial business as well as perform cold-calls in the field to generate new permanent sales. This candidate should be able to support existing clients and have an ability to conduct product demonstrations. Salesperson will monitor industry trends in order to identify emerging markets and develop plans to utilize those markets to expand revenue. If you have prior experience in outside sales and a desire to expand your career, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Identify leads, manage prospects and acquire new business
- Service existing clients
- Effectively demonstrate product line
- Meet established goals for territory development and sales quotas
Qualifications
- Experience in the food industry (Chef, Food sales, Restaurant manager etc..)
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals
